³⁷And reports about him began to spread throughout the entire region.

³⁸Jesus Heals Peter’s Mother-in-Law. On leaving the synagogue, he entered Simon’s house. Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they begged him to help her. ³⁹Jesus stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up immediately and began to serve them.
